Custom Mobile Greetings App Starter Kit is on Chupamobile!

Wow! Things move fast in technology. Our submission to Chupamobile.com for the Custom Mobile Greetings App Starter Kit has just been approved yesterday as a component listing. We are really stoked to be on Chupamobile because their hosting a $10K contest for mobile developers. Needless to say, it would be very cool to win!

There are 2 licensing packages 1 for $199.99 for a single free app release on Apple’s App Store and a second for $299.99 for a commercial app (that’s an app sold on Apple’s App Store or distributed for free with In-App purchase). Both licensing packages on Chupamobile.com also come with limited support from the VectorBloom team, assuming that you’re a developer with some familiarity to iOS. If you’re the bomb at iOS development and  just want to save time helping an artist get their portfolio out to the world in a free iPhone App, the licensing package for $99.99 on Binpress is a no support license package for 1 non commercial iPhone app release on Apple’s App Store.

From our observation of the market of Apps, we feel  the Ecard App and Art category on the App Store really has room to expand and grow. Not one design house can meet everyone’s taste or flavour for visual art, stationery design or illustration. This is exactly why we think the Custom Mobile Greetings App Starter Kit is a perfect solution for artists and the Kit itself is going to be a wild success in 2012.

It’s worth mentioning that the current pricing of any of the licensing packages on either of these sites ( Binpress or Chupamobile) is significantly low in terms of the value for the development time invested. My husband/ business partner and I spent over a year working and reworking the code and UI design in the ArtCards by Elizabeth Boylan App which is the template for the Kit. Being an artist myself, I recognize that most artists are already on a budget to afford supplies or software like PhotoShop. I’ve set the pricing accordingly as I’m happy to facilitate other artists getting their artwork in their very own portfolio iPhone App. While some artists, who have web development skills will be able to go at the Xcode project on their own and release the app themselves with their own artwork.  Many artists and designers will be able to find a developer who is happy to expand on their own portfolio of iPhone Apps using our Kit.
In order to distribute an iOS app on Apple’s App Store you or your business must first join the Apple Developer Program.
We have a new Facebook Page that will be dedicated to news on the Custom Mobile Greetings App Starter Kit.
