The title of this post is borrowed from theverge.com's review of Infinity Blade II from last December 2, 2011. Upon more research into the issue of crashes on the iPod touch 4th gen and original iPad, Epic Games discovered and reported on their forum that users with heavily laden iPod touch 4th gens and the original iPad were the ones experiencing crash issues playing Infinity Blade II. Keep in mind that upon release, the game rose to Number 1 and received 1500 five star reviews from other iOS device users who were happy with their game experience that first day on the App Store.

Big Top Ballet the Game for iPad, iPhone and the iPod touch will finally be available for sale this coming Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Version 1 is single player mode and features trippy visuals and audio. This is not a puzzle game, this is not a shooter game. If there is one tenet to UI design for games or apps, it's making the game player experience as delightful as possible. To achieve this one must design an interface that reduces frustration to a level that approaches zero. Some games for iOS, even from big studios will put a graphic or screen with a non-clickable url link embedded within a png file. That's not good enough for iOS. You want to be able to visit a url link without being bumped out of an iOS game or worse having to remember the address and then type it in to your browser. Make it quick, simple, and beautiful.
